Refund Policy for VeganTree
At VeganTree, we are committed to your satisfaction. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. This policy outlines our guidelines for refunds and returns.
Please note that this Refund Policy is an integral part of our overall Terms & Conditions. By making a purchase on VeganTree, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Eligibility
- Proof of Purchase: All returns and refunds require a valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email, receipt).
- Original Condition: Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, unopened (where applicable), and with all original packaging and tags intact.
- Time Limit: Unless otherwise specified for particular product categories, refund requests must be initiated within 7 days of the delivery date.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable.
- Personalized/Customized Items: Products that have been custom-made or personalized for you are not eligible for returns or refunds.
- Clearance/Sale Items: Items explicitly marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" are generally not eligible for return or refund, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
3. Specific Product Categories
A. Perishable Food Items:
- Due to the sensitive nature of perishable goods, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds unless the item arrives damaged, spoiled, or significantly different from what was ordered.

Reporting Issues: If a perishable item arrives in an unacceptable condition, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@vegantree.in. Please include:
- Your order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Photographs of the damaged or spoiled item(s) and their packaging.
- Assessment: Our team will review your claim. If approved, a refund or replacement will be issued. We may require the return of the item at our discretion for inspection, with return shipping costs covered by VeganTree in such cases.
B. Non-Perishable Food Items & Packaged Goods:
- These items can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are unopened, unused, and in their original, resellable condition.
- If the product is received damaged or defective, please follow the "Damaged or Defective Items" process below.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, regardless of the product category, please:
- Notify Us Immediately: Contact us at support@vegantree.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide Evidence: Include your order number, a detailed description of the damage/defect, and clear photographs or videos of the item and its packaging.
- Assessment: Our team will review your claim. If approved, we will offer a full refund, a replacement, or store credit, depending on product availability and your preference. We may arrange for the return of the damaged item at our cost.
5. Refund Process
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Send an email to support@vegantree.com within the eligible return period (as specified above for each product type).

Provide Details: In your email, include:
- Your order number.
- The name of the product(s) you wish to return.
- The reason for the return (e.g., wrong size, damaged, not as described).
- Attach relevant photos if the item is damaged, defective, or spoiled.

Return Authorization: Our customer support team will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to return the item. Please do not send items back without an RA number.
- Packaging for Return: Carefully pack the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories, tags, and documentation. Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the package.

Shipping the Return:
- For eligible returns not due to our error (e.g., change of mind, wrong size ordered by customer), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
- For returns due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent, damaged/defective product), VeganTree will cover the return shipping costs or provide a prepaid shipping label.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
6. Refund Issuance
- Once your returned item is received and inspected by VeganTree, we will send you an email notification confirming the receipt of your return.
- We will then notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.

Partial Refunds: In some cases, partial refunds may be granted (e.g., if an item is not in its original condition, is damaged for reasons not due to our error, or is missing parts).

Late or Missing Refunds:
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

7. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item (e.g., for a different size of clothing), please follow the return process as outlined above for the original item and then place a new order for the desired item. We do not offer direct exchanges.
